Rezen Studio — Workplace
East Fremantle | 82sqm
Nestled within an historic East Fremantle building, when designing our own studio, we were careful to respect and celebrate its heritage bones retaining existing features wherever possible. As a busy, working environment, functionality shaped the foundation of the design. We prioritised generous library storage, sit-to-stand workstations, a well-appointed kitchen, and a dedicated meeting space and it was from these practical considerations that the aesthetic naturally evolved.
The result is a space that feels both playful and refined, where natural and organic materials such as stone and timber veneer bring warmth and texture. A calm, neutral palette was chosen to provide a sense of visual calm – a counterpoint to the dynamic, ever-changing nature of the studio’s project work. Overall, the atmosphere is relaxed yet professional, fostering a collegial environment that supports both collaboration and focused creativity.
